Born in Tennessee, but a Maryland girl at heart, Jordan Kudisch’s love for storytelling began at a young age. She was always talking as a kid, which often got her in trouble.
Jordan’s love for telling stories continued to grow throughout her time at the University of Tennessee, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism and electronic media.
Jordan’s real-world interviewing experience began in the Czech Republic, where she studied international broadcasting as part of a study abroad program.
When she returned to the U.S., she landed her first reporting job in Terre Haute, Indiana, where she reported on the morning show, often in below-freezing weather. She handled many difficult topics, such as federal executions.
After two years, Jordan went home to Maryland to work as an evening anchor in Salisbury. During that time, she launched a crime series, "Trail To The Truth," where she covered missing person and cold cases. The show was honored with two Associated Press awards.
Jordan joined Spectrum News in Charlotte in 2023 as a reporter.
She has a passion for investigative journalism and covering crime stories. Her goal is to use her platform to change the world by being a voice for the voiceless.
