The city of Troy is looking to improve its fire and ambulance operations.

The Troy City Council is hosting a special meeting Monday. Ahead of continuing the Peak Ambulance operations into the next fiscal year, city officials are proposing adding four positions to the fire department, raising it from 72 to 76 positions starting this year.

It would also allow for 24-hour operations of Medic 3.

The meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. at City Hall.
