White, who also went by Sulaiman Al-Amriki, allegedly started showing his support for ISIS on Facebook starting in May 2024, court documents show.

While talking online with undercover FBI employees, White told them, “he owned guns and knew how to shoot them,” and would regularly send videos showing death and children training to fight with ISIS, prosecutors said.

When asked whether he was OK with killing members of the U.S. military or citizens, he allegedly responded, “There is no us troops love for homeland or any of this thing."

Following a period of communication between federal agents and White, he sent them a screenshot of his Dec. 4 flight itinerary from the Raleigh-Durham International Airport to Rabat, Morocco, on Oct. 26, according to the federal criminal complaint.

White then bought more equipment and military clothing with attached pouches for AK-47 magazines, according to court records.

On Dec. 4, White arrived at RDU, passing through the security checkpoint and clearing the gate to board the plane for his flight before being arrested just before 8 p.m., prosecutors said.

White has been held in custody since his arrest in December, court records show.
