RALEIGH, N.C. — Wake Tech has a new StartUp Center. It's a place where entrepreneurs can access free resources all in one place, whether they are just starting out or already established.
Nicole Meggerson de Martinez, project manager of Silver Lake Construction, enrolled in a 10-week entrepreneurial development program followed by a contractor’s academy with her husband and business partner.
In January 2020, Silver Lake Construction Company hit the ground running.

- Beginner entrepreneurs or established business owners can take part
“There are counselors that provide all kinds of training for you, whether it’s helping you hire, helping you get your financials in order, helping you find access to capital," de Martinez said. "There are so many things available at no charge.”
