CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Charlotte Mecklenburg Library system has digital books, online story time, and now it is offering an online option for one-on-one help from a librarian.

For half an hour school-age children and their parents can virtually meet with a librarian to get help with a specific subject in school or to learn about a particular subject that interests them.

Jennifer Price, a Children's Librarian with the Charlotte Mecklenburg Library system, said these sessions will be a big help to schools who will be going virtual for at least part of the time this fall.

Price said it will also be a big help for parents, “that are working from home and trying to balance working with taking care of their children and school, of course.”

You can find information and a sign-up sheet for the virtual one-on-one tutoring and enrichment sessions here.
