EMERALD ISLE, N.C. – A local man is recovering from the effects of Dorian after a tornado spurred by the hurricane blew the roof off his business and uprooted one of his buildings.

Owner of Artisan Granite and Marble, Michael Denmead, said “I think it flew. It skipped across my other buildings, my showroom here, my saw shop, and finally came to a rest about one hundred and fifty yards or so from where the foundation is.”
Denmead is currently looking for a temporary location to house his business while he rebuilds.
