CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department has released the 911 calls from the deadly incident at a Pineville Steak ‘n Shake.
One caller says he heard at least four or five shots fired and saw employees running and gathering at a nearby gas station. Another caller says the suspect, who was wearing all black, came up to her car and tried to mug her and showed a gun.
One person, a Steak 'N Shake employee by the name of Darnell Harris, was killed during the robbery at the South Boulevard location.
Eddie Doh and Kiara Murphy are facing charges. One of the suspects, Doh, was recently released from the hospital and immediately arrested by officers.
