CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Months after Hurricane Florence, some Charlotte-area farmers are still feeling the aftermath.

In Dallas, the weather has stunted some strawberry growth.

At the Lineberger’s Maple Spring Farms, they’re running out of strawberries.

Because of Florence and Michael, the farm’s coastal supplier delivered the product late and they were planted too late in the season to grow well.

The closed 35 acres of their land early for the season because of the shortage.

Despite the shortage, Lineberger’s says they plan to still hold their you-pick days for the next month at their Dallas location.
