INDIAN TRAIL, N.C. -- Union County officials are searching for a suspect in an armed robbery.

They say a man robbed the Aldi food store at around 7:15 a.m. Saturday morning. They say a man entered the store through a rear delivery door, forced employees to the safe, and stole cash before leaving.

Deputies say the suspect was wearing mask, gloves, dark clothing, and a traffic safety vest. He was also carrying a red duffel bag.
