CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Dozens of dead coyotes were found piled up in a wooded area in a Charlotte neighborhood.

Seventy to 80 coyotes were found off of Hood Road this week.

Wildlife enforcement says it's illegal to dump the coyotes the way they were.

Police have a suspect from Rowan County, and an investigation shows that person killed them in a large hunt.

A meeting is planned with the district attorney to discuss possible charges.
