CHARLOTTE, N.C. – A person is dead after a shooting Saturday afternoon.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg police officers were called out to Bathurst Drive, right off of Wyalong Drive, for a crash.

Officers found an SUV that had crashed into a parked vehicle. The driver had been shot.

They were taken to the hospital where they later died.
