Highs will be near average in the 40s to low/mid 50s.
Rain chances will ramp up again for Tuesday ahead of an approaching cold front. The actual front will pass through Tuesday afternoon.
With this, we'll look for a line of heavier rain and perhaps even a weak thunderstorm pushing through the Charlotte-metro area near the evening-commute time frame. Highs ahead of this will warm into the mid 60s.
Rapidly clearing skies Tuesday night will lead into a day of sunshine Wednesday and Thursday, just in time for Valentine's Day! Highs will go from the upper 50s Wednesday back into the 60s Thursday afternoon.
