CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Cyclists and scooter riders need to keep an eye out for some new signs in Uptown Charlotte.

The city is warning people there are now pedestrian-only sidewalks throughout Center City.
They sent a tweet, saying the new markings that say "pedestrian only."
The city's official scooter ordinance reads: "Sidewalk riding is allowed except in the area of Uptown bound by Church St., Stonewall St., College St., and 7th St. When riding on sidewalks, be visible, courteous and yield to pedestrians at all times."
