WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- A pedestrian was struck in the parking lot of Wallburg Elementary School.
It happened around 7:45 Thursday morning.
School system officials say that a parent driver struck a teacher as she and her child were crossing the parking lot. The child was not hurt.
The teacher did not show signs of injury, but went to the hospital afterward. She was not taken by EMS.
Trooper say the driver's foot slipped off the brake.
