CHARLOTTE, N.C. – North Carolina company, and beloved chicken restaurant Bojangles’ is slated to be sold to two New York companies in 2019.

  • Headquarters will remain in Charlotte. 

Bojangles’ released Tuesday that it has entered into a definitive agreement to be acquired by Durational Capital Management LP and The Jordan Company, L.P.

Durational Capital Management LP and The Jordan Company, L.P. are companies based in New York City.

The company says Bojangles’ will continue to be operated as an independent, privately-held company and will remain based in Charlotte.

Bojangles’ stockholders will receive $16.10 per share.

The transaction is expected to be completed in the first quarter of fiscal year 2019.
