CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Following the devastating effects of Hurricane Florence on southeast North Carolina, 36 dogs from a flooded shelter in Robeson County have been moved to the Humane Society of Charlotte.

- Some of the dogs are already up for adoption.
- The puppies need to stay with their mom a little bit longer.
The dogs, many of which are just puppies, arrived in the Queen City Monday night.
The Humane Society says it tries to help out other people when it can.
