CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The final steps in bringing a new Amazon distribution center to Charlotte are finalized, according to the Charlotte Chamber.

The facility will be built on 100 acres of land off Tuckaseegee Road near Charlotte Douglas International Airport.

City Council voted in June to approve the deal, which includes more than $13 million in incentives.

The distribution center will create 1500 jobs and more than $200 million in capital investment.
