CAROLINA BEACH, N.C. -- A suspect has been arrested after police say they displayed a gun during a disturbance at a popular Carolina Beach restaurant Friday night.

• A man was arrested after displaying a gun during a disturbance at Deck House.
• Altercation took place around dinner tim Friday night.
• Subject has been arresed. 

According to Carolina Beach Police, officers responded to the call at Deck House on Charlotte Avenue just before 7 p.m.

The subject had left the area prior to police arrival, but was located a short time later in the 700 block of N. Lake Park Blvd. 

They were arrested and the firearm was seized. 

There are no further known threats to the community and no reports of injuries at this time.

Carolina Beach Police have not yet released the identity of the suspect.
