SOUTH CAROLINA -- A new bill in South Carolina might make daylight saving time a thing of the past for the state. 

The bill, which already passed the senate Wednesday, and is passing on to house next week. 

If the bill passes the house it will go to the governor for final approval. 

The messure would put South Carolina and North Carolina one hour apart for several months out of the year.
