CHARLOTTE -- Three suspects in an on-campus armed robbery are in custody.

UNCC campus police say the suspects stole laptops and cell phones from two students early Thursday morning at the loading dock behind the student union.

Police say they then went on to rob a 7-Eleven on Brookeshire Blvd.

Lester McClendon, Jwuan Horton and Ulondis Edwards are charged with armed robbery with a dangerous weapon.
