CONOVER, N.C. -- A man who claims President Obama pardoned his past drug trafficking sentence is now facing charges for the same thing.

The Catawba County Sheriff's Office arrested Jerry Parson Tuesday at his home, finding 28 grams of cocaine in the house, along with 2 guns and $1,500.

According to the department, this is not the first time Parson has been arrested.

Parson claims he was released early from federal prison after being pardoned by President Obama.
