WAXHAW, N.C. - A wild night that ended with suspects shooting at a state trooper ended with four suspects being arrested.
Waxhaw police say around 9 p.m. Friday, the suspects tied up a worker at a Verizon store before robbing the store.
A South Carolina state trooper spotted the suspects driving near Columbia and chased after them. That's when officials say someone in the car started shooting at the trooper before wrecking the car.
The trooper was not hurt.
