CHARLOTTE -- Five people were hurt, one critically, in a two-car crash Sunday morning in south Charlotte.

Police say it happened around 2 a.m. when 45-year-old Mario Fusco was speeding down Johnston Road and ran into the back of an SUV, which ran off the road and rolled onto its roof.

Four people in that SUV were hurt, but police say they should be okay.

Fusco was last listed in critical condition.

Police believe alcohol and speed contributed to the wreck.
