CHARLOTTE - Kids in Charlotte now have a new hornets-experience basketball court to use whenever they want.

NBA executives were in town to help unveil the project where they discussed the impact of HB2.

Team Owner Michael Jordan says he hope this will teach kids how to work as a team and work well with others.

City and state leaders have been criticized for their lack of cooperation and compromise when it comes to HB2.

The NBA pulled the 2017 All-Star Game out of Charlotte because of the law.

NBA Commissioner Adam Silver says the NBA isn't boycotting North Carolina or Charlotte. NBA teams will still play in North Carolina, and stay in hotels and eat in restaurants in the state.

But he says the All-Star Game isn't the same as the regular season.

Silver says he hopes he can come back to Charlotte soon to announce the Queen City has been awarded the 2019 All-Star game.
