CHARLOTTE -- PNC Bank is shrinking down to edge their way into Uptown. They're setting up a smaller "pop-up" branch on Tryon Street.
It’s their first branch in the Uptown area.
Regional Manager Shirley Edmond says they've had success with the same program in Atlanta and Chicago.
“This is a great opportunity to increase brand awareness, to bring convenience to our existing customers, and to generate new business for PNC Bank,” she said.
The branch is open Friday, and it will stay open through mid-July.
