RALEIGH-  You may love getting dressed up, but if you're wearing high heels it's likely your feet are aching by the end of the night. That's one thing you won't have to worry about at the inaugural Black Jedi Charity Sneaker Ball.

The event takes place Friday, September 16th at 7p.m. at the Virginia Dare Ballroom at Sir Walter Apartments located at 400 Fayetteville Street, Suite 101, Raleigh, NC.

The Charity Sneaker Ball is to honor the memory of Ahki (Brother) Cranston Hargrove. Proceeds of the Sneaker Ball will go to the Cranston Hargrove Memorial Arts Scholarship, awarded to graduating High School seniors with aspirations of pursuing a career in any aspect of visual arts including but not limited to drawing, painting, sculpture, ceramics, printmaking, design, photography, video/film making, architecture, industrial & graphic design, textiles and interior design.
