WAKE FOREST, N.C. -- Even in the midst of the pandemic, a nonprofit in the Wake Forest community have found a way to keep fundraising for local schools.
The Giving Tree takes donations to sell in the boutique setting. Donations are now stored for 72 hours and cleaned before hitting store shelves. More than $50,000 has been donated to local schools in Wake Forest over the last five years.
