HERMOSA BEACH, Calif. — A new collaborative study released this week lays out a roadmap in how the U.S. can develop a fully domestic offshore wind energy supply chain in order to reach the 30-gigawatt target by 2030.

The study outlines gaps in the industry that are a barrier to creating a domestic supply chain.

The study's co-author says a workforce also needs to be developed.
