Jenna might be a Boston native, but she’s lived in the Queen City long enough to integrate “y’all” into her vocabulary and develop a deep appreciation for chicken biscuits. Telling stories that have a true impact on people’s everyday lives is what inspires her to come to work and be a voice for the Charlotte community every day.

Before joining Spectrum News in November of 2018, Jenna worked as an anchor for Charlotte stations WCCB and Fox, and anchored at CBS in West Palm Beach FL, Fox in Greenville SC and WWAY in Wilmington NC. Jenna has been nominated for two Emmy awards and, although many stories have touched her heart, one in particular comes to mind. Almost 5 years ago, Jenna had the pleasure of meeting a little boy named Josh who had been diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor and was told he had only months to live. With Christmas approaching, Jenna set out on a shopping spree, put a Santa hat on, and was able to surprise him with presents at home. Josh passed away shortly after that Christmas, but Jenna’s still in touch with his mother and thinks about him often.

In her spare time, you can find Jenna, her husband and their two sons exploring Charlotte’s parks and playing outdoors. Jenna and her husband met in Wilmington and now enjoy bringing their son to visit the place that holds such a special place in their heart.
