She is passionate about covering social justice, diversity and inclusion, and was given a great opportunity when the city hung a pride flag from City Hall. Sasha was able to capture the locals’ responses to the hot-button issue as dozens of people voiced their opinions of the flag.
Sasha loves the diversity in Greensboro, and enjoys all the various local artists and performers in the area. She also is a fan of outdoor activities and enjoys the North Carolina topography, from waterfalls to beaches and mountains.
When she’s not reporting, she might be at an a open mic night listening to local talent, or looking for her new favorite taco.
