ST. LOUIS – The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, with assistance from the U.S. Marshals Task Force and Saint Louis County Police, arrested Anjuan Mosby in connection to the murder of Michelle Hampton.
Hampton was abducted in Clayton outside her sister’s home on Nov. 20.
While responding to a shooting in the 4700 block of Greer on Nov. 21, police found Hampton dead. Police say the two knew each other.
Mosby has been charged with:
- Murder in the 1st degree
- Two counts of robbery 1st degree
- Attempt robbery in the 1st degree
- UUW Subsection 9
- Eight counts of armed criminal action
- Kidnapping in the 1st degree
- Two counts of endangering the welfare of a child
- Unlawful Possession of a firearm
- Kidnapping resulting in death
Police took Mosby to the St. Louis City Justice Center as he awaits a court date.
