ST. LOUIS — Locations of a national gym chain are coming to three prominent spots in the St. Louis area.
There are plans for a Crunch Fitness to move into the former Best Buy on Manchester Road in west St. Louis County, according to the gym company’s website.
It has been one year since the electronics retailer closed its Manchester location, at 151 Highlands Boulevard Drive.
Crunch Fitness will offer its members “miles” of cardio, weights and machines, a state-of-the-art training ground called HIITZone with a new high-intensity training program, group fitness classes, a relax and recovery area equipped with a HydroMassage chair, tanning beds, locker rooms and more.
In Florissant, a Crunch Fitness has been planned for the Schnucks shopping center at 8200 N. Lindbergh Boulevard. A Gold’s Gym was previously in that complex.
The former Weekends Only in St. Peters will be transformed into a third St. Louis-area Crunch Fitness location, at 411 Mid Rivers Mall Drive. Weekends Only, the St. Louis-based furniture retailer, closed all of its stores in 2022.
No opening dates have been announced regarding the new gym facilities.
Crunch Fitness has gyms nationwide, which embrace a “no judgements philosophy,” and promote a positive, inclusive and fun atmosphere, according to its website.
