ST. LOUIS—A former professional basketball player from Chesterfield admitted to committing nearly $273,000 in pandemic loan fraud.

Lorenzo Gordon, 41, pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court. His ex-girlfirend and “Basketball Wives” star, Brittish Williams, was sentenced to four years in prison last year.

As part of his plea deal, Gordon admitted to applying for two loans which were intended to help business and their employees during the pandemic, according to the U.S. States Attorney for the Eastern District of Missouri.

The court also says the loan applications contained false information about the companies that applied for the money. They are Logo Fitness LLC, Elite 50 Basketball Training LLC and Elite Health and Fitness Company LLC.

Gordon is originally from St. Louis and played basketball at Illinois State. He played professionally in France, Germany, Turkey and Israel.

Hw is scheduled to be sentenced on Jan. 9, 2025.
