Lake St. Louis, MO – State Representative Justin Hicks announced this week he is suspending his campaign for U.S. congress in Missouri’s third congressional district. He came to this decision following the attempt on former President Trump’s life.

“Now more than ever, especially after the recent attempted assassination of President Donald Trump, we must unify and fight for the common good of our Republic,” Justin Hicks said. “With respect to President Trump’s recent endorsement in this race, I have decided to step back, suspend my campaign, and honor his decision.”

As a proclaimed proud Army veteran and state representative, Hicks says he understands putting others before himself and he’s certain other opportunities to serve Missouri and the nation are ahead of him.

For the third congressional district seat, Dr. Bob Onder was endorsed by former President Trump and current representative Blaine Luetkemeyer endorsed Kurt Schaefer.
