With the holidays fast approaching, the St. Louis area is already filled to the brim with holiday events for you and the whole family.

- More than two million lights will illuminate the grounds of the Missouri Botanical Garden during the event. Classic favorites will return, but new this year, visitors can dance on an interactive tile floor that changes color with movement. Santa will visit Garden Glow on Mondays and Tuesdays from Nov. 20 to Dec. 12. You can also reserve a firepit and enjoy hot cocoa and s'mores.
Dazzling holiday displays are located throughout the zoo. There are new displays for 2023 as well as themed areas.You can visit the Woodland Workshop to participate in a holiday craft and write letters to Santa. If you need to warm up, there will be speciality hot cocoa and roast your own s'mores.
Santa's shuttle will take you down Grafton's Main street. For 2023, the event is free and non-ticketed. More than four million shimmering lights are strung in Jellystone Park as you drive through the 35 acres. The experience includes animated scenes and special effects with reindeer soaring overhead and elves frolicing in the trees. You can also enjoy the Santa Express or the old fashion wagon ride.
The holiday tradition that began in 1987 is back for another season. The family friendly event has more than one million lights shaped into 100 displays throughout the 75-acre park. You can enjoy the ride from the comfort of your vehicle Monday through Sunday, except Christmas Eve. You can buy a ticket ahead of time or pay in cash at the park. There will not be any carriage rides this year due to area construction and the closure of the St. Louis Carriage Company.
Check out breathtaking displays at the Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows during the annual Way of Lights. The displays focus on the birth of Christ and includes life-sized biblical statutes. And for Lego lovers, a huge display created by the Gateway Lego Users Group will be set up in the Visitor's Center to enjoy.
Visitors of all ages will enjoy the two-mile car ride through more than one million lights at World Wide Technology Raceway in Madison, Ill. This year, there are new displays and new music playlists. There is even a 100-foot lighted tree in the grandstands. Visitors can turn their radio to a dedicated FM station to enjoy the synchronized displays.
The Busch family home is transformed into a winter wonderland, decked out with holiday decor. This year there are even more ways you can experience the displays. You can walk through the farm, drive through, hop on a horse-drawn carriage. If you want to include food in your visit, you can book a fire pit or have breakfast with Santa and Mrs. Claus.
One of the most popular landmarks in St. Louis is lit up by more than a million lights for the holidays. Guests can stroll down Pestalozzi Street to marvel as the brewery is turned into a remarkable holiday experience with something for everyone. New this year, there will be guided and self-guided tours, which allow you to enjoy never-seen-before artifacts, and also serves as a place to warm up. The eighth annual Winterfest will illuminate Kiener Plaza with more than 100,000 twinkling lights. There will be ice skating, s'mores, igloos and a family-friendly New Year's Eve fireworks show. Dec. 2 is One Nation Day, where Winterfest is bringing together St. Louis cultures, sports teams and local retailers to celebrate the best of the city. Hockey fans, there will even be an opportunity for your children to try the sport for free on select Sundays. - Book your ride here. Santa and his elves are full steam ahead for a trip to the North Pole. Visitors will board decorated trains to take a journey with Santa and his elves. Families are encouraged to wear pajamas for the experience. The ride comes with hot cocoa and a tasty cookie.
