ST. LOUIS – Thursday morning's heavy rains flooded some busy roads in Brentwood and Rock Hill areas. As of noon, Manchester Road was still closed near Hanley, as well as a section of S. Brentwood Bouleard between Marshall Avenue and Manchester Road.
Spectrum News found water over the road near the Metro building on S. Brentwood Boulevard. The water has started to recede in the area, but some buildings on the western side of the road were still surrounded by water.
Drone video from Thursday morning near Manchester and Bremerton shows water surrounding Forest Products Supply Company, the Trainwreck Saloon, and a nearby park. Manchester Road was closed for a bit in that area this morning. This area also flooded during last week's historic rain.
The latest heavy rainfall has caused flooding for the third time at Froesel Tire within the past two weeks, according the store's manager. As of Thursday afternoon, the tire store's lot had about four feet of standing water and the office flooded almost two feet.
Daniel Mitchell, owner of Froesel Tire, said workers are cleaning up and the business remain open to customers.
Flash flooding dropped nearly eight inches of rain in the Fenton area, prompting water rescues.
