It’s going to be a cold and clear night. Overnight lows fall back into the teens and 20s under mostly clear skies.

High pressure builds in through Thursday, which will keep conditions dry and sunny with lighter winds. Highs climb back around the upper 30s and low 40s.

Most of the state remains in the 40s during the afternoon on Friday and through the weekend, but southern and coastal Maine will climb back into the 50s.

Overnight lows should drop into the 20s on Friday morning, and the 30s this weekend.

The next chance for precipitation, including rain and snow, returns around the end of the week on Friday, but it looks to be on the lighter side.
