Aside from a few scattered showers in the mountains on Friday, it’s been mostly dry to close out the week. Shower chances will climb for Saturday across the entire state.

Overnight lows will drop into the low 50s tonight with some showers beginning to move onshore for coastal areas by Saturday morning.

Hit-or-miss showers will move inland through most of Saturday with highs in the 60s across much of the state. It will be cooler along the immediate coast where onshore flow keeps spots in the upper 50s, while interior and northern parts of the state could climb into the lower 70s.

The system moves offshore by Sunday, drying us out, and allowing warmer and drier conditions to take hold into early next week. Highs climb above normal by early next week with temperatures potentially reaching the 80s early next week.

Scattered shower chances return again by next Wednesday.
