The south-southwest swell that came in Tuesday provided a ton of fun waves at town spots with lots of surf coming in at overhead and 2- to 3-feet overhead at periods. The swell has peaked but will continue through Wednesday evening and subside through the weekend.

Surf photographer Ron Kimura was out at Big Rights Tuesday night at Ala Moana Beach and captured the swell.

Swimmers should exercise caution at all times and enter the water near a lifeguard. For safety information, and latest beach hazard updates in Hawaii, please visit Hawaii Beach Safety. All data has been gathered from the NOAA and Surfline.com.
