Hawaii women’s volleyball coach Robyn Ah Mow has received a two-year extension to remain with her alma mater through the 2027 season, UH announced on Thursday afternoon.

Ah Mow, who helped guide the Rainbow Wahine to their 31st straight NCAA Tournament appearance in 2024, was entering the final year of her contract in 2025.

New UH President Wendy Hensel has said she hopes to hire a permanent athletic director by the end of the summer, a timeline that keeps interim AD Lois Manin in position to make some key personnel decisions through the remainder of the 2024-25 athletic year. Ah Mow is the second UH coach to be extended by Manin; football coach Timmy Chang received a one-year rollover of his contract in December.

Ah Mow, the former UH and U.S. Olympic setter, is a three-time Big West Coach of the Year. The McKinley High alumna has a 153-55 (.736) record through seven seasons leading the proud Manoa program. The Wahine have won a Big West regular-season or tournament title in the last five seasons.

"Coaching at Hawaii, my alma mater, has always been a dream," Ah Mow said in a UH release. "The program has given so much to me and to be able to coach here is a privilege. I am thankful to the leadership for trusting me in this role and will continue to build a championship culture that everyone can be proud of."
