Andrei Iosivas won’t need much of a wardrobe adjustment at his next stop.
Iosivas, the speedy Princeton wide receiver and Punahou School graduate from Honolulu, was selected by the Cincinnati Bengals in the sixth round of the NFL Draft on Saturday.
He was the 206th overall pick.
Wearing black and orange as a first-team All-Ivy League selection with the Tigers, the 6-foot-3, 205-pound Iosivas was named an FCS All-American by Phil Steele in 2022.
He was sixth all-time at Princeton in receiving yards (1,906), 12th in receptions (125) and third in touchdown catches (16).
Iosivas, an elite athlete, also competed in the heptathlon and earned All-America status there as well. He ran a 4.43 at the 40-yard dash at the NFL Draft Combine.
ESPN rated him No. 28 in the draft among receivers and 216 overall.
At Punahou, Iosivas helped the Buffanblu to the Open Division state football tournament his junior season. As a senior in 2018, he led the Punahou track team to a state win with five gold medals.
