HONOLULU — The Interscholastic League of Honolulu is determining what kind of spectator policy to implement for its winter sports, while the Oahu Interscholastic Association has barred fans from its events until further notice amid a surge in Hawaii’s daily COVID-19 case counts.

The ILH basketball schedule has already been pushed back by a week, to Jan. 11, because of the rise in cases; the state has averaged over 2,000 new cases a day for the last two weeks.
