Ready to ghoul all out this Halloween? There are lots of opportunities to do just that for the entire family at a variety of events across the islands. Take a look here:

Oahu

“1706” – The Masked Ones

The creators of Haunted Plantation bring this walk-through theatrical horror experience back by demand to Hawaii Theatre Center, various times Oct. 28-30. Submit yourself to a master hypnotist and watch as he raises the dead with his skill! Absolutely no one under the age of 18 will be allowed. Valid ID card must be shown and a waiver must be signed. Tickets.

 

Hauntopia at Da Dream Lab

Families are invited to a guided haunted walking tour through themed rooms with surprises, trick-or-treat stops and interactive art and science activities, 5-9 p.m. through Oct. 30. Not meant to be spooky, tours are 1.5 hours long available in time slots. Ages 2 and under are free; parent or legal guardian must accompany keiki 14 and under. Da Dream Lab is located at Kapaa Industrial Park, 905 Kalanianaole Hwy. in Kailua. Tickets.

 

Underwater Halloween Pumpkin Carving

The public is invited to dive into Halloween with an underwater pumpkin carving and scavenger hunt throughout the galleries at Waikīkī Aquarium, 11:15 a.m. Oct. 31.

 

Haunted Halloween at International Market Place

Keiki can enjoy free trick-or-treating around the mall on levels 1, 2 and 3, costumed characters, a balloon artist on level 2, and free face painting and caricatures on level 3 while supplies last, 4-6 p.m. Oct. 31.

 

Ala-Ween Spooktacular

Over 100 merchants throughout Ala Moana Center will hand out candy and other surprises to keiki, 4-7 p.m. Oct. 31. In the Ewa Wing Court, join in a bubble-filled dance party hosted by The Hawaii DJ, enjoy free custom balloon creations by Adventure Balloons and take a Halloween photo at the haunted house selfie wall.

 

 

Halloween Trick-or-Treating

Bring your costumed keiki to Kahala Mall for mall-wide trick-or-treating, 5-6:30 p.m. Oct. 31, with tons of treats, festive decorations and a live DJ in Center Court.

 

Spook-tacular KEY Project Halloween Bash

Bring the family for an evening of fun with crafts, activities, candy, dancing, food and beverages and a costume competition, 5-8 p.m. Oct. 31. There’s even an escape room … if you’re brave enough! Sign up here. Free and open to the public. KEY Project is located at 47-200 Waihee Road in Kaneohe.

 

Free Halloween Candy Crawl

Pearlridge Center hosts an indoor trick-or-treat event for keiki at participating merchants throughout Mauka and Wai Makai, plus a keiki costume contest, 5-8 p.m. Oct. 31.

 

Trick-or-Treating Fun

On Oct. 31, bring the keiki to Ka Makana Aliʻi for a Halloween Magic Show, 5:30-6 p.m., and trick-or-treating at participating stores, 6-7:30 p.m.

 

Halloween Trick-or-Treat

Dress up in your best Halloween costume for an evening of trick-or-treating throughout Windward Mall, 5:30-7:30 p.m. Oct. 31.

 

Spookeasy Halloween Soirée

Moana Surfrider, a Westin Resort & Spa, hosts an elegant prohibition-themed soirée featuring captivating dancers, a DJ and an array of small bites designed to pair perfectly with handcrafted cocktails, 7-11 p.m. Oct. 31. Guests are encouraged to dress up and get a masquerade mask. Tickets.

 

 

Tiki’s Annual Waikiki Halloween Bash

After strutting your stuff up and down Kalakaua Avenue, head over to Tiki’s Grill & Bar for drink specials, a live band at 8 p.m. and DJ spinning 10 p.m.-closing, Oct. 31. Ages 21 and over only. $20 in advance or $35 at the door.

 

 

3rd Annual Twin Fin Halloween

Hawaiian Brian’s hosts a night of music, costumes and fun with live performances at the HB Social Club by Twin Fin, SoCherry and Scott Levi Jones with a DJ spinning spooky tunes, 8-11:30 p.m. Oct. 31. Dress up for the costume contest and a chance to win prizes – Best Group (four people), Best Couple and Best Individual. Tickets.

 

Maui

Kula Country Farms’ Pumpkin Patch

Find pumpkins in all sizes, colors and varieties, plus gourds and sun flowers and tools available for carving at the Kula Country Farms, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. through Oct. 30. There’s also a farm stand and drinks and snacks available for purchase, and food on the weekends. $5/person, free for 3 and under.

 

Hawaii Island

Halloween Haunt at Kings’ Shops

Kings’ Shops hosts a variety of activities for all ages including a puzzle challenge, pumpkin decorating contest, trick-or-treating and a wine-tasting event for adults, through Oct. 31.

• The Great Escape, through Oct. 31 - Hawaii Keiki Museum hosts “The Great Escape” in which participants can challenge themselves with spooky quizzes and puzzles created by the museum. Those up for a real challenge can embark on a quest throughout the shops, competing for prizes and a $150 giveaway. Free.

• Pumpkin Decorating Contest, Oct. 29-31 - Shoppers are invited to vote for their favorite decorated pumpkins on display at various retail shops with three lucky voters winning $150, $75 and $50 gift cards. Voting ends 8 p.m. Halloween night. Winners will be announced via Kings’ Shops social media.

• Trick-or-treating & Golden Tickets, Oct. 31 - Embark on a trick-or-treat adventure at 15 candy shops where hidden golden tickets can be redeemed for prizes at Sugar Coast Candy, 2-8 p.m. One participant will win a $100 gift card. Sign up at Center Stage.

• Hallo-Wine for Adults, Oct. 31 - Adults 21 and over are invited to a wine-tasting experience at participating stores, 2-8 p.m.

 

Kauai

Harvest Festival

The Koloa Missionary Church offers a free alternative Halloween event featuring candy, games, prizes, go-karts, a maze and chili and rice dinner for families, 6-8 p.m. Oct. 31.
