LIHUE, Hawaii — Kauai police reported a deceased male was found in the Lihue-Koloa Forest Reserve in Wailua at approximately 8:15 a.m. on Sunday.
Based on preliminary reports, police have identified the individual as Dylan Wagner who was reported last seen on Aug. 6. Police do not suspect foul play. An autopsy is pending.
The Kauai Police Department has suspended the search for missing male, Dylan Wagner, 25, on Saturday after an extensive search by KPD, Kauai Search and Rescue and the DLNR Division of Conservation and Resources Enforcement. The search has been ongoing since Thursday.
According to KPD, Wagner was last seen on Aug. 6 and is described as being six feet tall and weighing approximately 170 pounds with a fair complexion, green eyes and short curly brown hair. His vehicle was found unattended, parked on Kuamoo Road near Keahua Arboretum in an area commonly referred to as Loop Road.
Closed earlier for the search, Keahua Arboretum has reopened to the public.
