The City’s contractor will demolish and restore spalled concrete in the substructure of the bridges.

The City expects the repairs to take about six months. Crews will work Monday to Friday, from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., except on holidays.

In order to minimize an inconvenience to the public, construction will be conducted in phases, according to the City. During the first phase, the bridges will remain open to cars and pedestrians. However, the City said temporary lane closures may be implemented when necessary. Also, construction equipment may limit access through the marina waterway.

The City’s contractor will also place “no parking” signs along areas near each bridge site one week in advance.
