HONOLULU — The City and County of Honolulu’s Department of Design and Construction sent a notice regarding an upcoming Dillingham Boulevard Bridge repair project.

The bridge goes over the Kapalama Canal in Iwilei between Kohou and Kokea Streets.

The work will start on Monday and last about four months, according to a news release.

Crews will work Monday through Friday between 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The project will repair spalled bridge substructure concrete.

The Department of Design and Construction said the work should lengthen the lifespan and structural integrity of the bridge.

The Contractor, Sea Engineering, Inc., will close one sidewalk across the bridge during construction.

Vehicles will still be allowed to cross the bridge during construction.

Sea Engineering, Inc. will help coordinate traffic during work hours.

“No Parking” signs will be placed along portions of Kokea St. on both sides of Dillingham Blvd. Vehicles parked on posted streets will be towed.
