The 15-minute grace period remains free to drop off or pick up passengers. The airport cell phone parking areas will also continue to be free and available.
Beginning Feb. 1, the new hourly rates at OGG, KOA, ITO and LIH will be as follows:

The monthly parking rate will also increase from the current $160 to $189 on Feb. 1.
Fees from parking and businesses operating at the airports funds the operation, maintenance and improvement of Hawaii’s airport system, according to HDOT. The projected revenue from the parking rate increases at OGG, KOA, ITO and LIH will be used toward future improvements that include the design and construction of additional parking at each respective site.
A few of the planned improvements include parking lot expansions at KOA, ITO and LIH; new employee lot at OGG; new parking equipment and stall counters at KOA; and parking equipment improvements at ITO and LIH.
The last time parking rates were adjusted for neighbor island airports was in 2015.
The parking rate fees at the Daniel K. Inouye International Airport was changed in July 2023 with continued adjustments scheduled through 2028.
