The Honolulu Department of Parks and Recreation’s Senior Division is hosting its annual free Senior Valentine Dance at the Neal S. Blaisdell Exhibition on Feb. 6 from 9 a.m. to noon, according to a news release. The theme of this year’s dance is “Love Never Felt So Good.”

People of all ages are invited to attend, but kupuna dancers will be highlighted. Some of the kupuna in attendance will be members of the DPR’s 32 Senior Clubs from around Oahu.

The dance will include songs performed by the Royal Hawaiian Band, local celebrities and kupuna dancing. The mix of tunes will include ballroom hits, line dancing and pop music.

On site will be Project Vision Hawaii who will provide free flu and COVID-19 vaccines (with proof of insurance), and Walk Wise Hawaii who will have pedestrian and driving safety resources.
