HONOLULU — The city and county of Honolulu and Department of Environmental Services advises motorists of overnight construction work on both Hart Street and Nimitz Highway scheduled to begin Sunday, Nov. 12.

The Hart Street Sewer Project begins Sunday with a projected completion date of March 30. Hart Street between Waiakamilo Road and Libby Street will be closed from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. nightly. It will be open only for local business access.

Nimitz Highway will be closed from 7 p.m. to 3 a.m. Nov. 12-16 as crews test new sewer lines. Two lanes — one westbound and one eastbound — between Waiakamilo Road and Libby Street will temporarily close during this time.
