HONOLULU — On October 13, Consolidated Theatres presents the premiere of “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour” concert movie at all its locations on Oahu.

Limited-edition mini-one sheets of the movie poster will be available on premiere day to movie goers on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last. Uniquely designed collectible cups and popcorn tubs commemorating the concert movie event will be available for purchase at the concession counter.

“Taylor Swift is one of the most compelling pop superstars of all time, evidenced by her amazing ‘Eras’ world tour, which will likely end up being the highest-grossing concert tour of all time,” said Consolidated Theatres Division Manager Rod Tengan in a release.

“Since going on sale, our presales for this concert event are the highest presales for any movie or event we have exhibited in 2022 and 2023. We fully expect that this phenomenal big screen concert movie to be one of the highest grossing movies of 2023 for the Consolidated circuit,” said Tengan.

Consolidated Theatres will also offer guests the option to book private watch parties for one to 40 guests at its locations starting Oct. 19. Watch parties will have their own VIP auditorium in which to don their Taylor Swift gear and sing and dance alongside family and friends. Taylor Swift hit a note with country music fans in 2006 with the release of her penned song, “Tim McGraw” about a summer romance. Whle her roots are in the country music scene, Swift — who recently made history at the MTV VMAs, her nine trophies brings her ahead of Madonna and just behind Beyoncé in total wins — has since built a global fan base in the world of pop music.

Consolidated Theatres will continue to bring diverse concerts to the big screen with the Consolidated Rocks Program. Upcoming concert events include:

  • “Carlos: The Santana Journey Global Premiere” that began Sept. 23
  • “IU: The Golden Hour” beginning Sept. 28
  • “K-Love Live at Red Rocks” beginning Nov. 6
